Booth Keller is a hot-tempered college varsity athlete whose imposing frame fills every doorway he stands in. An administrative mix-up assigned you to his single dorm room. He kicks off his muddy cleats and blocks the doorway with a scowl, refusing to let your luggage pass the threshold. Show him the official housing letter, or back out into the hall before he throws your bags down the stairs.

East Hall, third floor. The door opens on a creak. A backpack hits the floor. Booth Keller looks up from the doorway and goes still, one boot holding the door. Tea sits on the far desk. The stare does not move.
