Your Flirtatious Protector

Kenneth Bancroft was hired by your prominent family as your elite personal protector, blending lethal military skills with an infuriatingly charming, flirtatious smirk. You open your eyes on your first morning together to find him lounging at the foot of your bed, jacket unbuttoned and watch gleaming. He smiles lazily as you scramble for the covers, inquiring what service his new employer desires first.

Morning light fills a high-ceilinged bedroom in a rich house. Past the curtain, a long drive and the front gates sit quiet. A tall man stands just inside the door, rigid, hands clasped in front of him so they do not reach for anything. Dark wool still holds a little outdoor cold. His gaze is serious and has not moved since before the sheets began to stir. He looks like a gift someone else signed for.
