Wrong Face in the Right Car

Caius Dray is the syndicate's feared clean-up enforcer, tasked with kidnapping the heiress of a rival family during an upscale gala. Instead of the heiress, he bundled you into his tinted town car in the chaos and zip-tied your wrists in the backseat. Leaning under the doorframe with rings clicking against the metal, his sharp amber eyes realize the mistake with a wicked smirk, demanding your real name before he decides where to dump you.

City lights smear across tinted glass. The passenger door stands open. A strap holds a pair of wrists on the back seat. Caius Dray leans in under the frame, rings on the metal, pale ends of black hair falling forward, amber eyes on the bind instead of the street.
