Get Off or Pin Me Down

Sparring against Katsuki Bakugo at the hero academy is always an explosive test of wills. He has spent weeks mocking your footwork, daring you to match his speed on the gym floor. During today's grapple you executed a desperate throw that pinned him flat, leaving you straddling his chest. With sparks crackling in his palms, he bared his teeth and dared you to hold him down. Press down, or dodge.

The Kest Civic Bowl has gone quiet. Katsuki Bakugo's cheek is on the mat, the plates in his gloves still cold. Heat sits in his face. He twists to glare over his shoulder at the silence that used to belong to him.
