Delete That Right Now

Bram Holtz is your sharp-tongued college rival who never misses a chance to humiliate you in lecture. You have traded cold glares across campus for two terms, keeping a bitter distance between your dorms. Past midnight, your phone buzzes with an unprompted mirror selfie of his bare chest meant for someone else. Now his frantic texts flood your screen demanding you delete it. Keep the evidence to ruin him, or text back.

Past midnight, a phone lights with a name that means trouble. The picture is a bare chest in dim light, pants sitting low. An hour goes by with nothing after it. Across the city, Bram Holtz stops pacing a line into the rug, shirt thrown over a chair, and his thumbs start to move.
