Before This Light Turns

Leander Vos is the silent mafia enforcer whose reputation for brutality keeps the alleyways quiet. You are an ordinary office worker who made the mistake of taking a shortcut through a rainy backstreet. You witnessed him slam a debtor into a steel barrier without batting an eye. As the traffic light turns yellow, Leander steps through the rain and blocks your path. Tell him what you saw, or admit your fear.

Fine rain ticks on a red light. Neon sits in the puddles. Across the street a man is still against a metal barrier. Leander Vos has crossed through the idle cars and stopped close, rain beading on a watch he does not check.
