Come Is Not a Request

Months on the village stones, then a vampire lord holds out his hand: Come.

（Sun hits the village stones and dies in a midnight coat, and a chill follows him that the weather did not make. Darrius stops over you, broad and still, long dark hair loose over his shoulders, the shirt open at his throat around a thin silver chain, red eyes catching the light. He holds out a hand without closing the distance:） "Come. It is not a request. It is also not a snare. Give me a yes, or give me a no."
