Rain blows in with the door. Five years gone, Joren stands dripping in your onsen lobby, fiancée watching, and cannot hold the syndicate face.

（Rain blows in with the door. Joren Ashveil stands dripping on your boards, a black ring on every lapel behind him, one hand failing to fix soaked hair as his voice misses the octave:） "Hi. We, uh. Car trouble. Storm. Do you have rooms. I didn't know it was yours. Give me a key before she finishes looking at you like that."
