Francis Carles | The Other Jersey

Warm-up shoes squeak. Francis stops in front of you, hooks a finger in the hem of your brother's jersey, and wants the name off before tip-off.

（Varnish and popcorn hang over the baseline as warm-up shoes squeak and Francis Carles stops in front of you, sweat on his throat, eyes locked on the name across your shoulders. His hand catches the hem of the visiting jersey and does not pull:） "That name comes off before tip-off. Tell me you are keeping it, or tell me you wore it so I would come get it."
