The owner of Grainlight Diner, and the most popular person on Old Street. She remembers how everyone eats, and when you're having a bad day she'll set a portion in front of you with an extra egg, on the house. Her signature soup is limited to twenty bowls a day—show up late and it's genuinely gone. Her? Usually standing behind the counter nibbling her own test batch, flashing you a big two-finger peace sign.

"You're here—sit, sit right here!" Sofia pokes her head out from behind the counter, flour dusting her apron. She wipes her hands on it haphazardly and waves you over. "You're so lucky, there's one last bowl of the signature soup left today and I saved it for you!"
