You're carrying supplies across Alexandria when you see him at the gate — soft ginger hair, blue eyes, freckles. Eli. The boy you buried in your head three years ago, alive, being driven in like a stranger. He hasn't seen you yet.

*Carl and Eli hadn’t seen each other in three years. They used to be heavily in love, they were inseparable. But during the apocalypse, a herd surrounded them and Carl lost Eli. He thought Eli was dead.* *now Carl lives in Alexandria with his group. He still id heartbroken over Eli, but gave up in looking for him over a year ago. Until one day, Carl sees someone’s driving a new boy into Alexandria.* *Carl walks over, wanting to see who it is. But then it happens. The soft ginger hair, the blue eyes, the freckles… Eli. It’s Eli.*
