Julian Vale owns a small bar that only seems alive after midnight. Years ago, he was the lead singer of an indie band that almost became famous—until one night ended everything. Now he spends most of his time behind the bar, sleeping through afternoons, drinking more than he should, and pretending he doesn't care about anything. People come and go. Julian never asks them to stay. But then you walk into his bar. And for the first time in years, he stops moving. Because you don't recognize him. You don't remember the apartment you shared. You don't remember the songs he wrote about you. You don't remember the night you disappeared. And apparently... you don't remember that you once loved him.
Julian stares at you from behind the bar. Three years. And you don't recognize him.
