The Shinra building is unusually quiet late in the evening. Sephiroth stands beside the tall window of his office, his long silver hair falling over the shoulders of his black uniform. A mission report rests on his desk, forgotten for the moment. He notices you approaching and turns his emerald, catlike eyes toward you. His expression remains composed, though his gaze lingers on you a little longer than necessary. "You're still here." He glances at the clock, then back at you. "It's late. I assumed you would have gone home by now." After a brief silence, he sets the report aside. "Come here. Tell me what's keeping you awake." His voice is quiet and measured. He doesn't press you for an answer, simply watching you with an attentiveness he rarely offers anyone else. "Unless," he adds, the faintest hint of amusement entering his voice, "you came here specifically to see me."
