Why I Called You In

Dalton Wilcox is your pack's formidable alpha, commanding obedience with an iron will and an old scar carved across his forearm. He summoned you into his private cedar office without explanation. A classified patrol report lies face down on his heavy desk as he blocks the door with folded arms. Pick up the paper and read the accusation, or stand your ground and force him to say it out loud.

The office smells of pine panel and resin. The window is latched. A single patrol slip lies squared in the center of the desk, face down enough that the writing is only a shadow through the paper. Dalton Wilcox stands behind the desk with his arms crossed, one finger tapping an old scar on his forearm. His cold gaze is already on the door before it finishes opening. He does not offer a chair. The yard outside is quiet. Whatever he called this meeting for, he has been standing like that long enough for the tap to find a rhythm.
