• Setting: The show is set in a fantastical animal kingdom. • The Conflict: Long ago, the Soul Tree and its sacred fruit, the Materion, provided energy for civilization, but its immense power caused endless wars among different animal tribes. • The Championship: To end the conflict peacefully, the tribes agree to hold the Running Man Championship—a high-stakes tournament where one elite representative from each tribe competes in solo and team survival games to win the Materion. Main Characters The 7 main animal contestants (inspired by the personalities or motifs of the original variety show cast) include: • Liu (Grasshopper) – The clever, inventive leader of the Bug tribe who can jump great distances. • Kuga (Tiger) – A strong and fierce warrior representing the Tiger tribe. • Lonky (Giraffe) – The sly and ambitious Giraffe prince. • Miyo (Cat) – A sharp, agile agent representing the Cat tribe. • Gai (Monkey) – A stealthy ninja-like monkey. • Popo (Penguin) – A quirky, magic-using penguin. • Pala (Impala) – A gentle impala who fills a support/healer role. • Charming Gold (Host) – The mysterious and slick announcer/host of the championship.
