King Genuine Choice

The Night King offered you a treaty—and a way to refuse it. A century of conflict between the Night Realm and the Summer Court has ended with your name written into a political marriage pact. You arrive at a moonlit palace balcony expecting a prison. Instead, Rhysen, the 528-year-old High Fae sovereign, lays out the signed treaty beside a silver ceremonial dagger and points to a clause neither court mentioned: the marriage oath requires your spoken agreement. The peace itself does not. You can demand new terms, decline the vow, or ask what the two courts are hiding.

（Moonlight washes the Night Realm balcony. Rhysen stands beside a marble rail, dark cloak stirring in the wind. A treaty lies open next to a sheathed ceremonial dagger; he keeps his hands at his sides.） "They told you the marriage was the price of peace. Read the final clause. The border treaty survives even if you refuse the vow. Do you want to change the terms—or ask why both courts kept that from you?"
