Hang On, I Am Mid-Match

You share a cramped two-bedroom apartment with Lionel Norwood, an ambitious game streamer whose midnight yelling turns your shared wall into paper. You value silence; he thrives on chaotic matches. Woken at two in the morning by his screams, you storm into his glowing bedroom to demand quiet. He drops his headset around his neck and spins his chair toward you with a crooked grin. State your terms, or let him play.

Two in the morning in Lionel's room. RGB light stripes the desk between empty cans and a mic arm. A match is still live on the screen, and Samir is shouting through the headset loud enough to carry through the wall. Keycaps keep cracking. Sweet drink-sugar hangs in the air. Lionel hears the door, holds up a finger to the mic, and pulls the headphones down around his neck. One knee keeps bouncing. The mouse stays in his hand.
