Lot Seven. Kaius Isn't Taking No.

Your name's on a collar you didn't choose. Kaius Radcliffe won you as lot seven at the Tuesday Frost Market, half of Korrath's crown, seven feet of settled quiet who already wrote the registration in his own hand. Warmth and food are upkeep, not kindness. His brother Keith is the louder danger. Outpost lights in the dark glass, amber eyes half-lidded, bare thumb tight on the collar at your throat. "This sits how I set it. Sit on the bed. The door is not a request I am taking tonight."
