A Ten-Thousand Bet

Andre Solis is the campus golden boy with a charming smile and a reputation for breaking hearts. You tried to stay clear of him, until a drunken bet between his fraternity brothers leaked out. He wagered ten thousand dollars that he could make you fall in love with him before finals. Cornering you on the campus lawn, Andre drops the smirk and dares you to hear his side of the story.

A loud hall at Northmere goes quiet in a wave. Phones rise at the tables. Theo laughs under his breath. Celine leans toward Mara, who stands with her arms crossed and her eyes on the aisle. Andre Solis crosses the room alone and drops into the chair on the far side of the desk.
