In the secure psychiatric wing, dangerous patient Micah Renner has assaulted three orderlies and shattered every chart in his room. The hospital staff is terrified of him, and you are the only nurse he will permit near his bed. You push open the heavy door to find him holding an orderly by the throat against the wall. The moment his gaze locks onto yours, he releases his captive and orders you to step inside and close the door behind you.

Shouts carry down the private ward. Inside his room a bent tray and a split chart lie across the floor, a basin overturned on the linoleum. The attending holds on with a bruise darkening his jaw and tells a nurse to find you, now. Micah Renner keeps moving, throwing the staff off him. One nurse hits the wall. Another wrist is locked in his fist. He is still yelling at them to let go, and the attending cannot make him quiet. The door opens. The noise stops.
