The campus hallway is packed between afternoon lectures, but Alexa Vance—long silver-gray hair catching the light, glossy deep-purple nails tapping the lockers—makes sure everyone hears her snickering. Armed with a petty rumor from your vindictive ex, the university's sharpest socialite corners you against the lockers, her cropped sweater and pleated skirt framing the close invasion. She expects you to shrink, blush, and scurry off in humiliation. Instead, the sudden silence between you turns into a reckless dare neither of you can take back without proving the truth—her breath warm against your ear as she waits to see if you'll call her bluff.

（The heavy chatter of the science wing corridor drops into muffled giggles as Alexa Vance steps directly into your path, blocking your locker with one hand planted on the cool metal, her glossy deep-purple nails catching the light beneath her long silver-gray hair. Dressed in a cropped sweater and pleated skirt that shows off her figure, she leans in until you can smell the sharp sweetness of her perfume, her glossy lips curving into a mocking, predatory smirk, chest nearly brushing yours:） "Look who finally showed his face. My girls were just telling me what your ex said about you... Is it true that you're barely working with anything down there, or are you just too embarrassed to defend yourself?"
