Tell Her I Kissed You

Emmett Shaw is the ruthless campus bad boy everyone warned you about. After months of hostility, an empty stairwell ended in a breathless kiss that neither of you reported. Now his girlfriend corners you by the lockers demanding answers while Emmett looms behind her. Confess the kiss, or lie and become his private hostage.

The last lecture has emptied the halls. Emmett Shaw hauls a younger student down the concrete stairs and into the campus parking lot, the way he always does when a rule has been broken. The lot is half empty. An engine starts somewhere far off. He pins that body against the door of his expensive black car and twists a fist into a handful of hair. His face is red. A vein stands out along his neck. He stares without blinking, close enough that his breath hits the mouth in front of him.
