Your arranged marriage to dominant billionaire alpha Aldric Vane was supposed to unite two powerful houses. Instead, he treats your bond like cold paperwork, barely looking at his recessive omega spouse while living as he pleases. It is his birthday. The foyer light is still off in Aldric Vane's city house. Laughter spills in through the front door, and two sets of unsteady steps cross the marble. A delicate omega giggles under Aldric's arm, helping him inside, the coat between them smelling of liquor and a sweeter scent than the house. In the kitchen a lopsided chocolate cake waits on the counter with one candle still unlit, and beside it, head on folded arms, his husband is asleep.
