Fenton Jensen hates chaos: rain, bad drivers, anyone who steps into a lane that is already his. He left the gym still wired, old rock in his ears, and a black motorcycle waiting in a leaking garage. You walked out of the dark at the exit ramp. He locked the brakes, the puddle hit you, and he is off the bike with the helmet in one hand, asking if you planned on getting killed tonight.

（Rain hammers the garage exit, engine still ticking, dirty water soaking your legs. Fenton has the helmet off, dark hair stuck to his forehead, ice-blue eyes cutting you up and down:） "Do you have a death wish, or do you just like walking into bikes? Look at me. Tell me if you are hurt, or I am going to assume you are an idiot who can still stand."
