Say It Before She Is Back

Kelvin Webster is arranged to marry your sister to seal a family merger. He keeps a cold distance from her, while you have watched him in secret, hiding feelings that could ruin both houses. Tonight is the engagement gala. The second your sister leaves the table, you cross the floor and slip into her empty chair. Kelvin slowly turns his glass, warning you that you have less than a minute before she returns to say what you actually want from him.

A merger party fills a mansion built to show money. Wine and toast flowers sit on the tables. The chair beside Kelvin Webster is empty; the fiancée left it for the washroom. He stays seated, eyes on the room, one hand on his glass, and he does not look up.
