A dim room sits high above the city. Traffic hums through the glass. A second wine glass stands on the table, lipstick on the rim, and the last soft clink of it still hangs in the air. The inner door opens. Leon Varga walks in with measured steps and stops in front of you. His eyes are cold and flat, an almost detached look, as if he is checking a fact he already knows.
