A Pistol on the Sofa

Your brother skipped town owing millions to the city's most feared syndicate, leaving you alone to face the consequences. When you unlock your apartment tonight, you find Don Vittorio Sanna sitting comfortably on your sofa with a signed debt ledger under one hand and a loaded pistol resting across his knee. Grinning coldly at your frozen stance in the doorway, he demands you set your keys down and negotiate his payment.

The lamp in the living room is already on. Vittorio Sanna sits on the sofa with a signed slip under one hand and a pistol loose across his knee. Street cold hangs in the doorway. The grin is aimed at the entrance.
