Tied to the Boss's Chair

You were hours away from marrying into the powerful Phelan syndicate, clad in silk at the family estate. But before vows could be exchanged, gunfire cut the ballroom lights, and ruthless brother Whit Phelan dragged you away. You wake bound with coarse rope to a wooden chair in a damp cellar. Whit leans over you with bloodied knuckles and a mocking drawl, informing you that his younger brother was never strong enough to keep you alive.

One bulb hangs over concrete. Rope holds a pair of wrists to a chair. A phone lies on the floor. The door opens on a tall man with white hair. Whit Phelan fills the frame and sets two fingers on the chair.
