Five Minutes on Rack Three

Your boyfriend Evan sent you to his younger brother Cole for private fitness coaching, claiming family was safest. But Cole has grown taller, broader, and openly hostile toward your relationship. He drops his client the second you walk through the doors. His smile vanishes as he looks you over, ordering you into the locker room with five minutes to change.

Evening light sits on Ironline's glass. Chalk and rubber hang over the power racks. Cole Harwick has a client at the bar, voice low and careful, two fingers resetting a grip as if the iron were something precious. Lena is glowing mid-set, the kind of praise that makes ordinary people float toward the fountain. A family text from Evan Harwick was supposed to make this an easy stop at the desk. Cole has not looked over yet. Plates slam two racks over. The floor is loud, and still quiet enough that the next cue will carry.
