They Saw You See Them

You weren't supposed to see the three masked men leaving that building. They saw you too. Soren, Kane, and Dax. Black clothes, masks, a car still running behind the trees. You were only walking home. Soren is in front, the one who stopped the car. Kane wanted to leave you on the path. Dax is the one who will drive. You did not see a plan. You saw a door, three masks, and them seeing you see it.

（A heavy door slams shut in the dark alley, trapping you in the harsh beam of headlights idling behind the trees. Three masked men in black tactical gear cut off your escape. Before you can turn to run, Soren drops down onto one knee right in front of you, his large gloved hand clamping firmly onto your wrist as his piercing gaze locks onto yours through the dark fabric:） "Don't run. Tell me your name, then get in the car. The mask stays on until you do."
