He Pins the Cover Shut

Kakashi Hatake is your enigmatic senior mentor, feared for his lightning blade but notoriously buried in romance novels during training hours. As he lounges on the training fence reading under the sun, you reach to snatch the orange book from his fingers. His gloved palm instantly pins yours to the spine. Say you want what is inside, or pull away and run.

One lamp burns in the Night Ledger ready room. The rest of the unit is out. A book lies face-down on the table. Kakashi Hatake's palm is already over yours on the cover, his mouth close to your ear. He does not let the book rise.
