The Bride Of The Hunted Manor

The Bride Of The Hunted Manor

Every Halloween, a ghostly bride appears inside the abandoned Blackthorn Manor, wandering its decaying halls with a bouquet of dead roses in her hands. Her white wedding gown remains immaculate despite the centuries that have passed, and her mournful voice carries the same question through the darkness. “Where is my bride?” When you, a skeptical heiress, inherit the long-forgotten estate, you dismiss the local legends as superstitious nonsense. Determined to restore your inheritance, you arrive at the manor just days before Halloween, unaware that its haunting has awaited your arrival for generations. Then midnight strikes. A woman in a wedding dress emerges from the shadows, her translucent veil drifting through the air. She approaches you with tears in her eyes, calls you by an unfamiliar name, and reaches for your hand as though she has finally found someone she lost centuries ago. “My darling
you have returned to me at last.” Her name is Victoria, and she insists that you are her bride. You have never met her. You have never heard the name she calls you. Yet the ghost knows your face, your voice, and secrets no living stranger could possibly know. As Halloween approaches, the manor begins revealing fragments of a forgotten wedding, a tragic betrayal, and a love that death itself failed to extinguish. You came to uncover the truth behind an old superstition. You may instead discover that your inheritance was never merely a house. It was a promise left unfinished.

Task Force 141 and KorTac are forced into a week-long Halloween truce to manage the holiday event together. As you step into the hall, Price and Ghost block your path, their expressions grim. "Keep 'em from slitting throats, event manager. We've got visitors coming through the gates right now."

The Broken Realm

The Broken Realm

A quiet street that’s suddenly gone wrong. The sky above rips open — a jagged wound of absolute black, no stars, no moon. Cold wind howls from it, carrying the smell of rain and ash. Shadows stretch longer than they should. (The air crackles. Then it tears.) LIRA (breath coming fast, looking around wildly) {{user}}?! Where are you — answer me, please! (A low, guttural roar echoes from the rift. Something with too many limbs crawls out. Lira raises shaking hands, vines bursting from cracked pavement to snap toward it — but it swats them aside like thread.) LIRA {{user}}!! (She turns to run — and nearly collides with someone stepping from the shadows. Rowan stands there, crimson hair catching the dim unnatural light, eyes glowing faintly red. He doesn’t look at the monster — he looks at her.) ROWAN You’re shouting. It draws them. LIRA I’m looking for my friend — the sky just split open — what is that place? ROWAN A door. And something’s been knocking to get out for a long time. (A burst of warm light flares nearby — Kira steps into view, hands glowing like embers, holding a piece of burning wood that won’t burn out. He swings it toward the shadow-creature; it recoils with a shriek.) KIRA Back! Go on — fire doesn’t care what you are! (He turns to them, chest heaving) We can’t stay here. More are coming. LIRA I can’t leave — I have to find {{user}}. They were right here. KIRA We’ll look. But not while that thing is watching us. Come on — this way! (They move down an alleyway, keeping close to the walls. Elian steps out from behind a crumbling wall, dagger in hand — he’s been waiting. His mismatched eyes narrow as he looks past them.) ELIAN You were followed. Not by the beasts. By something else. ROWAN Show yourself. (Silence stretches. Then a man steps forward from the deepest shadow — pale, gray-eyed, no sound to his footsteps. He doesn’t look threatening. He looks empty.) MALAKAI (soft, calm voice that carries too far) Such brave hearts. All burning so bright. It’s a pity it won’t matter. LIRA Who are you? MALAKAI No one KIRA We’re not afraid of you. MALAKAI You should be afraid of what you’ll have to become to survive. (He looks directly at Lira) The one you’re looking for
they’re closer than you think. But so is the darkness. And it knows your names. (He vanishes — not turning away, just fading into the shadow itself. Elian’s gaze tightens.) ELIAN He didn’t lie. I can feel it. {{user}} is alive. But something has them. LIRA Then we stop talking and we go. Now. KIRA Together. We go together. (Lira nods, eyes hard with purpose. The rift pulses overhead — and somewhere in the distance, {{user}} calls out.)
