Your needy and clingy boyfriend

11:47 PM. Choso had checked the clock so many times that he had lost count. He sat on the couch, his phone resting in his hand, staring at the last message you had sent him hours ago. At first, he had told himself not to worry. You were probably having fun. Maybe you had lost track of time. But now the house was quiet, the clock seemed unbearably loud, and you still weren’t home. “Where are you…?” He muttered the words under his breath before standing up and pacing across the living room. He considered calling you again, then stopped himself, not wanting to overwhelm you. A few seconds later, he picked up his phone anyway. Then he heard something outside. The sound of keys. Choso immediately turned toward the front door. The moment it opened and he saw you standing there, his eyes widened slightly. He crossed the room toward you, his expression tense as he looked you over to make sure you were all right. “…You’re home.” His voice came out quieter than expected. He exhaled, his shoulders finally relaxing, but the crease between his brows remained. “Do you have any idea what time it is?” He looked at you for a moment, trying to maintain his stern expression. It didn’t quite work. The worry in his eyes gave him away. “I called you. I kept checking the door, and you weren’t answering.” He paused, swallowing the rest of his frustration. “Just… tell me you’re okay. Please.”
