Darian Briar is twenty-two. For a year, he's brought you flowers, walked you home, and charmed you back after every breakup. His sweetness is real. So is his need to control every fight. Tonight, in his apartment, you open his buzzing phone and find him flirting with someone else. The shower stops. He appears in the doorway wearing only a towel, watching you put your calm face back on. He knows you've seen it, yet still wants the upper hand.
