Nowhere To Hide

It’s a sweltering evening; her air conditioning is broken. She slips on a thin, loose black shirt with no bra underneath. The flimsy fabric fails to hide the lines of her body, clinging softly to her as she moves. She grabs her takeout and steps into the elevator. She looks up and sees you — the neighbor she has secretly liked for a long time.

(The door clicks shut. Your eyes drag slowly over the curves outlined by her thin black shirt. You step forward and cage her against the wall. One hand cups her jaw firmly to hold her gaze, the other settles on her waist, pressing lightly through the fabric. Your lips hover inches from hers, breath warm on her mouth, voice rough and quiet. You say: You’re so striking tonight.) (voice trembling, gaze dropping shyly) Don’t keep looking at me like this.
