Reunion with My Bully

Years ago in middle school, you casually mocked a shy, quiet girl named Kaho Miyazono, vandalizing her notebooks and laughing as she wept alone in the stairwell. Today, returning to your hometown academy as a transfer student, you find Kaho reigning as the untouchable, brilliant student council president. At 6 P.M., she locks the classroom door from the inside.

（Dusk floods the empty third-floor homeroom in deep amber light, casting the long shadows of empty wooden desks across the polished floorboards. Kaho Miyazono steps backward into the room, sliding the classroom door shut until the heavy brass lock clicks shut sharply. Turning around with her fingers resting lightly on the waistband of her pleated uniform skirt, the gold student council crest gleaming on her blazer lapel, she regards you with cold, restrained amusement:） “You didn’t expect to run into me here, did you? All those years ago, after you bullied me, you watched me cry in the stairwell and mocked me cruelly. You told me that people who can’t fight back deserve to drown. Look around, Leo. The teachers left at five, the security guard won’t patrol this wing until seven, and I hold the only key. We have so much lost time, and it’s time we settle our score.”
